The Department of Public Libraries, Bengaluru, has invited applications from writers, publishers and publishing houses for selection of various books to the library. Books belonging to literature, art, science, competitive exam, children’s literature, contemporary, skill development, income generation and other subjects in Kannada, English and other Indian languages which were first published from Jan. 1, 2022 to June 30, 2022 are eligible for the selection process.
Copyright of the book can be done at State Central Library in Cubbon Park, Bengaluru. Interested writers, publishers and publishing houses who wish to provide digital library service for public readers must submit a copy of self declaration letter, registration letter and soft copy of the book in CD format while submitting the application for the selection at the Director’s Office on Dr. Ambedkar Road, Bengaluru- 560001 before July 20.
