Eradicate stray dog menace

November 29, 2017

Sir,

Of late, stray dog menace has become a nightmare to many in the heritage city. It has become a regular affair in the 4th Main of Subhashnagar. Our peaceful nights have been taken over by the howling and barking dogs.

Motorists are disturbed by these dogs as they haphazardly run around the place, children are not safe playing, elderly people are attacked during their walks. They dirty the roads by pulling around the garbage and thereby attracting flies. Basically, everyone is being troubled.

Though there have been many complaints regarding the stray dog menace in the city previously, authorities seem to be taking a back seat. What are we waiting for? For our innocent people to loose their lives for these furious animals that attack in packs? It is high time we find a permanent solution for this forever growing problem, before it is too late.
