Evaluation of SSLC answer scripts to commence from Apr. 8

Mysore/Mysuru: With the SSLC exam-1 (2025-26)  over, the evaluation of answer scripts will be held across the State from Apr.8 to 12.

SSLC exam-1 of Karnataka State Board was held from Mar. 18 to Apr. 2 at 136 centres in Mysuru district (43 in city and 93 in taluks). The district recorded 99 percent attendance of students, with about 1 percent absentees.

Mysuru DDPI Uday Kumar said that the evaluation of answer scripts will be held at 7 centres in the district from Apr. 8 to 12. “400 teachers have been designated for each subject. The evaluation of answer scripts is being done with decoding system for the first time and the answer papers of the district have been dispatched to other districts in GPS-fitted vehicles, as per the decoding system specified by the Government,” he noted.

Continuing, Uday Kumar said as many as 36,179 students from 703 High Schools (277 Government, 122 aided and 304 unaided private) had registered for the exam (6 papers). With the exams over, the focus is now on evaluation which will be done in 7 centres for 5 days. Every teacher taking part in evaluation work will be assigned 10 papers in the morning session and 10 in the afternoon. Overall, each teacher can evaluate 100 to 120 papers during the 5 days, he said adding that teachers taking part in evaluation would be provided TA, DA and other applicable allowances.
