Sadananda lights the lamp, senior writer Dr. C.P. Krishnakumar presides, conferring of ‘Sahitya Ratna Award’ on journalist Amshi Prasannakumar, ‘Vaidya Ratna Award’ on cardiologist Dr. K.S. Sadananda and orthopaedic Dr. Raghunandana Shekarappa, ‘Madhyama Ratna Award’ on journalists C.K. Mahendra and Ram, 10 am; Health Check-up Camp, Sri Mahadeshwara Temple premises, Paduvarahalli, up to 2 pm.
