EVM hacking allegations: No arrests made, says City Top Cop

Mysuru:  Following allegations and complaints by SDPI candidate Abdul Majeed and JD(S) candidate Abdul Aziz that Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) used for polling in Narasimharaja Constituency were hacked, City Police Commissioner Dr. A. Subramanyeswara Rao has rubbished the allegations.

The City Top Cop has confirmed that no one has been taken into custody in connection with the hacking case besides stating that no EVM was hacked in the recently concluded Assembly polls.

The Police Chief said that it is not possible to hack EVMs and added that some may have made attempts to make quick money by misguiding the candidates before the elections.
