Mysuru:  A  programme to felicitate former Chief Minister Siddharamaiah and book release function will be held on Dec.30 at Rani Bahaddur Auditorium on Manasagangothri campus in city.  The programme is organised by Central, State Government, Semi- Government and Aided Institutions Scheduled Castes/ Tribe Employees Parishat, Mysore Division.

Informing this to reporters here yesterday, Parishat’s President Shanthraj said that the Minister R.B. Thimmapur will inaugurate the programme. Nidumamidi Mutt’s Veerabhadra Chennamalla Swamiji will grace the function. Chamarajanagar Member of Parliament R. Dhruvanarayan will preside.

MLA Tanveer Sait will release a book on ‘Karnataka Anna Bhagya Scheme and Food Security’ authored by Prof T.M. Mahesh on the same occasion.

Periyar exponent Kalaiselvi will speak on the topic  ‘Constitution objectives and Reservation.’ Talakadu Chikka Rangegowda  will speak on ‘Karnataka Anna Bhagya Scheme and Food Security’. Prof T.M. Mahesh, Chikkandani, Mahadevamurthy, Surendra, others were present.
