Excel in ‘Samskrutotsava’

Mysuru: The students of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan (BVB) won Rolling Shield in Samskruta Story Telling and Amarakosha Chanting contests while Amrita Vidyalayam students bagged the Rolling Shield in Speech Presentation Contest held as part of ‘Samskrutotsava’ at Acharya Vidya Kula in city recently.

The category-wise list of winners is as follows:

Samskruta Story Telling for Std. III and IV

Std. III: 1st prize – Achintya Puranik  (Amrita Vidyalayam); 2nd – Shreya Kansam (Manasarowar Pushkarni Vidyashrama); 3rd – Achala Krishna Bhat (Kautilya Vidyalaya); Consolation – S. Bhoomika (BVB)

Std. IV: 1st – Gowrishree (BVB); 2nd – Samhitha Bharadwaj (Acharya Vidya Kula); 3rd – M.S. Daiwik (St. Joseph’s Central School, Vijayanagar); Consolation – Laasya (Manasarowara Pushkarini Vidyashrama)

Amarakosha Chanting for Std. V to VII

Std. V: 1st – Rajath (BVB); 2nd – Shreya Poorni (Amrita Vidyalayam); 3rd – Ramitha N. Gowda (JSS Public School, SJCE Campus); Consolation – S. Samyukha (Manasarowara Pushkarini Vidyashrama).
