K. Niriksh, a Class 8 student of The Orchids Public School, Mysuru, has won the  1st place in Kumite and 3rd place in Kata in the 2nd Shorin Kai Cup International  Karate Championship  held at Mysuru recently.

Earlier, he had won 1st place in Kata and in Kumite in International Karate Championship in Pondicherry, where around 500 students participated from six different countries.
