Excels in Shorin India Karate Championship

The students of Gangothri Public School, Mysuru, won many prizes in the Shorin India Karate Championship organised by Shorin-Ryu Karate-do and Kobudo India at Notre Dame School in Hinkal recently. The prize winners — (standing from left) R.K. Keerthiraj – 1st prize in Kumite, M. Lalithkumar – 2nd in Kumite, K.S. Chinmay – 2nd in Kumite and Vinaykumar Dhami – 2nd in Kata and Kumite; (kneeling from left) S. Gavidiganth – 3rd in Kumite, R. Abhi – 3rd in Kumite, V. Bharath – 3rd prize in Kumite and K.S. Deekshith – 1st in Kumite — are seen with Head Mistress Zarina Babul, Karate Trainer Sempai V.S. Raveendran, PT Teacher Ram Kumar and Suma A. Pawar.

The students of Sowparnika Training Centre, Hinkal — P. Sloka (3rd prize in Team Kata) and S. Vineeth Rao (1st prize in Kumite and 3rd prize in Team Kata) — won prizes at the Shorin India Karate Championship held at Notre Dame School, Mysuru. They are seen with their trainer Liji Johnson.
