Mysore/Mysuru: Lakshit Dayananda, a second standard student of Delhi Public School, Mysuru, has secured 3rd place in Karnataka State Under-7 Open Chess Championship 2023 in the Boys Category.
It was a National Selection Tournament organised by Panchajanya Chess Academy, Bengaluru, at Sri R. Gundurao Sports Complex in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, recently.
Lakshit will now be representing Karnataka in the National Championship to be held in West Bengal during September.
Lakshit is the son of Dr. Dayananda and Shruthi Dayananda, residents of Siddartha Layout in city.
