City’s G.D. Anju, an 8th Std student of St. Philo Carmel Convent, excelled in the recently concluded Roller Skating Championship in Mangaluru. Anju won gold in 300 mts, silver in 500 mts and bronze in 1000 mts races. She is the daughter of Dattatreya and Kavitha couple, residents in Shivaratheeshwara Nagar. Anju trains under Srikanth Rao.
