Mysore/Mysuru: Alleging that a few private financiers had recovered interest more than the loan amount, a 23-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging self at his house after leaving a death note behind on Wednesday.
The deceased is Gagan, son of Satishkumar and a resident of Nanjumalige in city. He was an employee of an IT company in city.
Gangan’s father, who saw his son hanging in the room, cut the rope and rushed him to a hospital, where the doctors declared him (Gagan) dead.
In his death note, Gagan has alleged that Jayanth, Prakash, Harsha and Sangam, who had given him the loan, had taken interest more than the principal amount and depressed over this, he was ending his life besides holding the four persons responsible for his death.
Meanwhile, Gagan’s father Satishkumar, in his complaint has stated that Sangam and his family members had come to the house recently and created ruckus over the issue. This had led Gagan to depression and commit suicide, he added besides urging the Police to take action against Sangam and his family members. Based on the complaint, KR Police, who have registered a case, are investigating.
