‘Extend illumination till Nov. 3’

October 23, 2024

Mysuru: The Mysuru Hotel Owners’ Association has requested an extension of the Dasara illumination until Nov. 3. “Hundreds of families are eagerly inviting relatives to witness the spectacular light displays. Visitors who could not attend during the Navaratri Dasara festivities are still arriving every day,” said Association President C. Narayanagowda in a media release.

“Celebrating the 50th Kannada Rajyotsava alongside the Dasara lights is a wonderful way to honour our legacy under the reign of Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar, enhancing the festival’s grandeur. Given that the government has additional holidays this month and Deepavali is approaching, we urge the Government to extend the illuminations for an additional ten days, until Nov. 3,” Narayanagowda said.
