Extend newly-introduced Yeswanthpur-Mangaluru Central Tri-weekly Express upto Mysuru

Sir,

The train number 16595/16596 Yeswantpur-Karwar-Vasco Da Gama Express was introduced as a daily train very recently. The train, however, doesn’t touch Mangaluru and instead crosses via Padil bypass. The move is welcome but the cancellation of train number 16523/16524 and 16513/14 has put many passengers in jeopardy as the trains no longer travel via Mysuru to connect Mangaluru.

An alternative arrangement with a new train for Mangaluru-bound passengers from Mysuru should be expedited at the earliest. It is thus requested to extend the services of the newly-introduced train 16585/16586 Yeswanthpur-Mangaluru Central Tri-weekly Express upto Mysuru via Bengaluru-Kengeri-Ramanagaram-Channapatna-Maddur-Mandya on a daily basis.

The suggestion to extend the 16586/16586 Tri-weekly Express upto Mysuru and upgrading the same as a daily running train will benefit many Mangaluru-bound passengers from Mysuru otherwise intending for direct connectivity to Mangaluru.

Hence, South Western Railway authorities at Mysuru Division are requested to look into the above suggestion and implement the same at the earliest in the best interest of passenger comfort.
