Mysuru: The Senior Citizens Forum has urged the South Western Railway authorities to extend Mysore-Renigunta Express Train service to Tirupati as it will help the commuters avoid changing of train at Renigunta, which is very near Tirupati.

In an appeal to MP Pratap Simha, the members have requested him to recommend for the extension of Mysuru –Renigunta Express Train (Train No. 11065/11066) to Tirupati.

However, it is more than six months since the appeal has been made but till now no action has been taken by the Railway authorities concerned. Hence, the Forum appeals once again to extend the service at the earliest and help the commuters, according to a press release from R.M. Chetty, Secretary, Senior Citizens Forum.
