Extensive study needed for Research in Law: Prof. R. Venkata Rao

Prof. R. Venkata Rao, Vice-Chancellor, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, is seen addressing the gathering during the inauguration of National Seminar on ‘Research in Law’ at JSS Law College premises in Kuvempunagar on Friday.

Mysuru – Observing that extensive studies is crucial for carrying out research in Law, Prof. R. Venkata Rao, Vice-Chancellor, National Law School of India University, Bengaluru, said that research holds a significant place in today’s digital world. He was speaking after inaugurating a two- day National Seminar on ‘Research in Law – Approaches and Techniques’ organised by the JSS Law College at its premises in Kuvempunagar here on Friday.

Pointing out that research propels knowledge, Pro. Rao underlined the need for finding new approaches and techniques to make research in Law more fruitful.

JSS Law College Chief Executive Prof. K.S. Suresh presided. Former Law faculty of University of Mysore Dr. C.K.N. Raja, College Principal Prof. M.M. Prabhuswamy and others were present during the programme.
