The prestigious Farrokh Khudamurad Irani Memorial Golf Tournament will be held on Aug. 26-27 in city. The Tournament, sponsored by Sri Kanteerava Narasimharaja Sports Club, is conducted in memory of late F.K. Irani, who also served as the President of the club.
The event is one of the most sought after the popular tournament conducted by Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Golf Club.
The tournament will be inaugurated by Indian Golf Union Past President Raian F. Irani at 8 am on Aug. 26 (Saturday) and the prizes will be given away during the valedictory event on Aug. 27. Around 180 golfers from Bengaluru, Kodagu and Mysuru will take part in the tournament.
