Cairo: Mysuru lad C. Vasisht, teaming up with Tejas Chaukulkar and representing India in the F20 $15,000 ITF Egypt Futures Men’s Tennis Tournament at Cairo in Egypt, on Saturday finished runner-up in the Men’s Doubles event.
Third seeded pair of Dante Gennaro (Italy) and Sharrf Rabry (Egypt) beat Vasisht and Tejas 7-6 (3), 6-3 in the final and clinched the title.
Vasisht will also take part in the F21 Egypt Futures Men’s Tennis Tournament to be held at Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, from Oct.1 to 7.
