Mysuru: The Information Science & Engineering Department of GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, has organised a National-level Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Cyber Warfare: Techniques, Tactics & Tools for Network Security” from July 24 to 28 in association with IEEE, Bangalore Chapter and Computer Society of India, Bangalore and Mysore Chapters at the College premises on KRS Road here.
The event aims to provide an opportunity to interact with various Faculty Members, Research Scholars and Industrial Professionals to exchange ideas, enhance knowledge and understand every aspect of fast changing technologies.
The FDP also provides a platform for the faculty members to know and understand every aspect of fast changing technologies to strengthen their knowledge.
Key deliverables include Overview of Cyber security Vs Network security; Configuring of CISCO firewalls; Social E-Commerce security; Intro-duction to Cyber Crime; IPV6 and IP4 Transition; Securing IPV6 Network, Introduction to IDS and IPS & Device password Recovery.
