Fake marks card row: Four more arrested

July 24, 2017

Mysuru: The City Crime Branch (CCB) sleuths arrested four more accused allegedly involved in fake marks card racket.

The accused have been identified as Prajwal, a temporary employee of Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) and Kishan, both residents of Gokulam, Sagar, resident of Kolar and Menon, a resident of Mahadevapura in Mysuru.

With this, the total number of arrested has gone up to five. It may be recalled that CCB Police had arrested one Yashaswini, a resident of Gokulam, last week.

The Police said Prajwal, one of the accused, owned a high-end car and led a posh life by earning just Rs. 8,000 per month. The CCB sleuths added that they would produce all four before the Court this evening and seek custody for four days to conduct further interrogation.  They also said that there was a possibility of high-profile people being involved in the racket.
