Threaten suicide if salaries not paid soon

The employees of Falcon Tyres, who have been denied salaries since two years, prevented a private firm from attaching a machine of the factory and staged a protest at the factory premises yesterday.

It is reported that representatives of Sapthagiri Enterprises, Bengaluru, which had provided raw materials to Falcon Tyres, yesterday came to the factory with the Court order to attach a slicing machine as the factory had not paid for the raw materials worth Rs. 2 crore.

Soon, MLAs G.T. Devegowda and Vasu who arrived at the spot, along with the employees, convinced the representatives of Sapthagiri Enterprises not to attach the machine. The employees are safeguarding the factory by looking after it in shifts.

The employees, who later staged a protest, threatened of committing suicide if their long pending demands were not met.
