Mysore/Mysuru: A Police Head Constable, depressed over frequent quarrels in the family, ended his life by hanging self at his house in Police Layout here yesterday.
The deceased is Shyam Prasad (45), a Head Constable attached to Devaraja Police Station in city. He ended his life when the family members were away.
Shyam Prasad, who was serving at Devaraja Police Station since five years, was deployed to Shubhodaya Squad yesterday morning and as he did not turn up for work, Police personnel at the Station contacted his house during which the suicide came to light.
A case has been registered at Alanahalli Police Station.
