Periyapatna: In a tragic incident, a farmer died on the spot after he stepped on a live power wire at his farm in Aiylapura village in the taluk here this morning.
The deceased farmer has been identified as Harish (23), of Aiylapura village.
Periyapatna Police, who rushed to the spot, conducted mahazar and shifted the body to Periyapatna General Hospital besides registering a case.
