Mysuru: Urging the District Administration to start immediate procurement of paddy at all the procurement centre, nearly a hundred farmers, under the banner of Karnataka State Sugar Cane Growers Association (KSSGA) staged a demonstration in front of the DC office this morning.
The farmers, who protested by dumping paddy, presented a memorandum to the DC. Earlier, the farmers marched in a procession from Gun House Circle to the DC office. Association President Kuruburu Shanthakumar and others took part.
