Farmers to take out parade in Bengaluru on Jan. 26

Mysore/Mysuru: Farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrashekar said that farmers will take out a parade in Bengaluru  on Jan.26 in support of  agitating  Farmer Unions who have declared that a Tractor Parade will be taken out in New Delhi on Republic Day.

Farmers Unions are on an indefinite stir at  Delhi borders for nearly two months seeking repealment of the newly introduced three Farm Laws.

Speaking to press persons here yesterday, Kodihalli Chandrashekar said that more than 25,000 farmers from different parts of the State in tractors and other vehicles, will enter the State capital via Nelamangala on Tumakuru Road, after the Chief Minister’s Republic Day address concludes.

The farmers will pass through Yeshwanthpur and Malleswaram to reach Freedom Park, where a rally is proposed to take place. However, the farmers will have to stage a stir if the Police stop them from reaching Freedom Park, he said and urged the Chief Minister to withdraw the amended Land Reforms Act,  APMC Act  and Anti-Cow Slaughter Bill.
