Mysuru: The Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIE, is organising AICTE-sponsored two-week Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Design, Fabrication, Characterization and Analysis of Fiber Reinforced Composites with Micro and Nanoparticles” from Dec. 11 at NIE here.
The FDP will cover topics relevant to the pursuit of Fiber and Particulate Reinforced Composite Materials and Applications, Bio-composites, State-of-the-art Characterization Tools, Surface Engineering for Composites, Surfaces Modifications, Development in Computational Aspect of Composite Materials, Nanocomposites, Fiber-Reinforced Composites with Nanoparticles and Functional Materials for modifying/enhancing the Physical and mechanical properties.
