P.S. Uma of Mysuru, representing Karnataka in the 22nd Federation Cup National Senior Athletic Championships (2017-18) being held at Patiala, won bronze medal in the Women’s Shot-put event.
A former DYES (Mysuru) product, Uma threw the shot to a distance of 14.66m to win bronze medal. Navaneet Kaur Dhillon of Punjab won gold with a throw of 16.45m, while Rakhi of Haryana won silver with a throw of 14.74m.
