Former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa visited Mysore Palace, where the first batch of nine Dasara elephants led by Howdah elephant Abhimanyu (in pic) is housed and fed jaggery and sugarcane to the jumbos. He was accompanied by District Minister S.T. Somashekar, Youth Empowerment and Sports Minister K.C. Narayanagowda, KSTDC Chairman Ka.Pu. Siddalingaswamy, DCF Dr. V. Karikalan and others.
