MDJA new building construction works to be launched on Aug. 29
Mysuru: Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) will be launching the construction works of its new building and celebrating Newspaper Day at an event to be held at the MDJA site in KNS Layout on Nanjangud Road (near JSS College) on Aug. 29 at 10 am. Senior journalists will be felicitated and annual awards will be presented on the occasion.
Former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah will launch the works. Mysuru District in-Charge Minister Dr. Yathindra Siddaramaiah will inaugurate the ceremony. MDJA President K. Deepak will preside over the event. Former CM Media Advisor K.V. Prabhakar will felicitate the senior journalists. Karnataka Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) President Shivanand Tagadur will present the annual awards.
MLAs G.T. Devegowda, T.S. Srivatsa, Tanveer Sait, K. Harishgowda, Anil Chikkamadu, D. Ravishankar, G.D. Harish Gowda & Darshan Dhruvanarayan and MLCs Dr. D. Thimmaiah, C.N. Manjegowda, K. Vivekananda, Madhu Madegowda, Raghu Kautilya & K. Shivakumar will be the chief guests.
Deputy Commissioner G. Lakshmikanth Reddy, MCC Commissioner M.K. Savitha, Mysuru Nirmithi Kendra Project Director Mahesh Kumar, GSS Group of Companies Chairman D. Srihari and MDJA former Presidents Amshi Prasanna Kumar, C.K. Mahendra & S.T. Ravi Kumar (RK) will be the special invitees.
