Samskruti Prakashana, Mysuru, Vijay Foundation, Mysuru and Akhila Bharatiya Sahitya Parishat, Mysuru, have jointly organised a programme at Sarada Vilas College Centenary Hall, Krishnamurthypuram, tomorrow (April 10) at 10.30 am to felicitate thinker, writer, Mysuru Mithra columnist and retd. Tahsildar Dr. V. Ranganath and release his seven books — Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Kalada Kalavidaru; Kopave Solu – Sahaneye Geluvu; Nambike Galisona – Nambike Ulisona; Mane Doddadayitu – Mana Chikkadayitu (Rasika Puttige avara Samagra Sahitya edited Dr. V. Ranganath); Elige Anjida Huli – Mattitara Kathegalu; Shishu Geetegalu and Makkala Mooru Kiru Kadambarigalu.
Manasagangothri Journalism Department Head Dr. Niranjana Vanalli will release the books. Mysuru District Journalists Association (MDJA) President S.T. Ravikumar will be the chief guest. Senior scholar Dr. N.S. Tharanath will preside.
At 12.15 pm: ‘Rangabhinandana,’ a felicitation volume on Dr. Ranganath, will be released by Senior Pracharak of RSS S. Ramanna at the same venue.
Editor of the felicitation volume and writer Samskriti Subrahmanya will speak on the book. Industrialist Dr. B.R. Pai will preside. Former MLC G. Madhusudhan and National Organising Secretary of Samskara Bharathi P.R. Krishnamurthy will be the chief guests.
