Maharaja’s High School and PU College Alumni Association President B.S. Sridhara Raj Urs seen felicitating alumnus Dr. Chandrashekar of Aditya Hospital (Gokulam) during the Founder’s Day and Mummadi Krishnaraja Wadiyar Jayanthi celebrated at the School premises in city recently. Association Secretary Suresh, Treasurer Rangaswamy, College Principal Mahesh students and staff were present. Mummadi Wadiyar founded the ‘Raja Free School’ for the education of poor children in 1833. The Maharaja High School and the Maharaja PU College is a continuation of the ‘Raja Free School’.
