Mysuru/Mysore: JCI Mysore Success World Jacyeerette Women’s Wing and the Local Organisation Members (LOM members) celebrated International Women’s Day “Sammilana Saptaha” at the premises of Regional Institute of Education (RIE) in city recently.
The function was inaugurated by LOM President Rajeev and Team in the presence of Dr. Venkatesh Murthy, Head of Extension Education Department, RIE.
JCI Zone XIV Zone Co-ordinator Khushi Gugliya was honoured on the occasion.
Additional Superintendent of Police P.V. Sneha, who was the guest of honour, called upon the girl students to balance between men and women in all walks of life and stressed the importance of maintaining harmony in the society by gender sensitisation.
Madhu Sudhir, International Wellness Trainer, spoke on bridging the gap between the energies of men and women in different aspects of life.
Past Zone officer of Zone XIV and Zone trainer Kavitha M. Prakash facilitated a session on Social behaviour in Public Places. The members of JCI Mysore Success World, Chairperson Nandini, Vice-President-Training Nikitha, Junior JC Chairperson Kavya, LOM Treasurer Vinutha, Joint Secretary Sowmya, Vice-President Growth and Development Siddaraju, Members R. Kishore, Priyanka, Krithica and Pramila were present apart from students of RIE.
