Mysore/Mysuru: Akhila Karnataka Brahmana Mahasabha President Ashok Haranahalli will be felicitated at a programme organised by Mysuru City and District Brahmins Association, along with Mandagere Manjunath Abhimanigala Balaga, at Hoysala Karnataka Sangha premises on N.S. Road in city at 10.30 am on Sept. 10 (Saturday).

Announcing this at a press meet at Pathrakartara Bhavan here on Wednesday, Mysuru City and District Brahmins Association President D.T. Prakash said that titular head of erstwhile Mysore Royal Family Yaduveer Krishnadatta Chamaraja Wadiyar will inaugurate the programme at 10.30 am.

Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji will grace the occasion. MP Pratap Simha, MLA S.A. Ramdas, former Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) Chairman H.V. Rajeev, Donor Mandagere Manjunath and other personalities will be present on the occasion, he said. Prior to the programme, Homa and Navagraha Puja will be performed at 7 am, he added.

Community leaders Raghuram Vajpayee, Mandagere Manjunath, Ranganath, Nagaraj, Shivakumar and Somanna were present at the press meet.
