Mysore/Mysuru: City-based Agricultural Scientist Dr. Vasanth Kumar Thimakapura’s two books — ‘Plant Doctor’ and ‘Vasantha Vihara’, will be released at ‘Vasanthotsava’ felicitation programme jointly organised by Dr. Vasanth Kumar Thimakapura Abhinandana Samithi and Vismaya Book House, Mysuru, at Vijnana Bhavan in Manasagangothri campus at 4 pm tomorrow (Jan.9).

Agriculture Minister N. Cheluvarayaswamy will inaugurate the programme in the presence of Suttur Mutt Seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Swamiji and Kengeri Vishwa Vokkaligara Mahasamsthana Mutt Seer Sri Nishchalanandanatha Swamiji.

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar will release the book ‘Vasantha Vihara,’ while Prof. A.H. Rajasab, Chairman of Karnataka Science and Technology Academy, Bengaluru, will release ‘Plant Doctor.’

University of Mysore Registrar (Evaluation) Prof. N. Nagaraj and city’s Nypunya School of Excellence Chairman Raghu Kautilya, will be the chief guests.
