Karnataka Yakshagana Bayalata Academy  is offering fellowship to SC candidates intending to take up research work in Yakshagana. The fellowship amount is Rs. 90,000 for a candidate and an honorarium of Rs.10,000 is payable to the guide. Candidates doing  Post-Graduation in Kannada, Sociology, Political Science, Economics, History, Journalism and other subjects can apply for the Research fellowship.
