Mysore/Mysuru: A one-day programme celebrating the life, research and philosophy of Nobel Laureate Richard Feynman is being held at Kiru Rangamandira (Mini Theatre) in Kalamandira premises here on Nov. 26.
Arivu, Kalasuruchi – Educational and Cultural Society and Kutuhali – Kannada Science Monthly and Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM), which are in the forefront of Science-related activities like Science Sanje and Mysore Science Theatre Festival, are jointly organising the day-long Science celebrations. International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS), Bengaluru, too has lent its hand in support.
During Feynman Day, a session of interesting talks by experts like Prof. K.S. Mallesh (University of Mysore, Mysuru), Prof. Shashi Thutupalli (National Centre for Biological Sciences, Bengaluru) and others are organised. Later in the afternoon, the life of Feynman on video, Feynman diagrams and other interesting popular talks are organised. Evening will see the popular Kannada Science play QED.
