Fiesta 2K26 marks decennial fete of Christ College

Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Fiesta 2K26’ cultural fest marked the decennial year celebration of Christ College in Srirampura recently.

Rev. Fr. Jinto Jose, Principal, who welcomed, highlighted the institution’s vision and growth over the past decade.

In his felicitation address, Rev. Fr. Dr Augustine, CMI, former President, St. Thomas Education Society, emphasised that such platforms are essential for the holistic development of students and noted that the journey of building the institution into a centre of excellence was not without challenges.

Rev. Fr. Joby Kunnath CMI, President, St. Thomas Education Society, who presided, inspired students to strive for excellence while upholding strong values. He also elaborated on the importance of Sanatana Dharma, emphasising the concept of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world as one family) and highlighted the relevance of Vedas/Upanishads in shaping ethical and value-driven lives.

Representing the parent community, Ravi Hulkoti lauded the institution’s progress and the achievements of its students.

The release of the college View Book, showcasing its academic milestones, was the highlight of the event.

Special annual edition of the college newsletter ‘Kristos’ was released by the dignitaries, in the presence of Christ Media Coordinator S. Shilpa  and Student Coordinators M.N. Anusha  and Jezneel Lomeo.

A video presentation depicting the academic accomplishments of the college, along with a special tribute video dedicated to the stalwarts of the institution, acknowledging their leadership and relentless contributions over the past decade, was also released.

The toppers in academics and non-academics were honoured with certificates. The celebration culminated with a DJ session.
