Fifteen retired MLCs accorded farewell

Bengaluru: Fifteen members of Karnataka Legislative Council (MLC), who retired last month, were given a warm farewell at a programme organised at the Council Secretariat here on Friday.

The retired MLCs — M.C. Venugopal, T.A. Sharavana, Dr. Jayamala, Jayamma, H.M. Revanna, Sharanappa Mattur, N.S. Bosaraju, D.U. Mallikarjun, Tippanna Kamakanoor, R. Chowdareddy Toopalli, K. Abdul Jabbar, Ivan D’Souza, Iqbal  Ahmed Saradagi, S.V. Sankanur and Puttanna — were presented with a shawl and a memento.

Legislative Council Chairman Pratapchandra Shetty,Opposition leader S.R. Patil, Chief Whip Narayanaswamy, Minister Kota Srinivas Poojari, who is a member of the Council and others were present.
