Mysuru: The Hobby Place, Mysuru’s one of a kind Art Studio and Hobby Centre, brings a transformational workshop on painting figurative portraits with renowned Bengaluru-based artist Murali Krishna on Jan.19 and 20.
The workshop aims to inspire people to unlock and maximize their creative potential and reclaim their passion for art.
Artist, design consultant and teacher, Murali Krishna is a creative & critical thinker. His paintings have been featured on the cover page of magazines, publications, online museums, and exhibitions.
Speaking about the workshop, Murali Krishna said, “I believe that everybody is creative and an artist in their own way. The workshops that I run are detailed introductions and initiations into the field of art. We explore how an artist thinks and how his/her brain works, and this allows participants to ease into the workshop and their paintings.”
He adds, “The participants later become a part of the Figurative Art Society in Bengaluru, which is a community that I started to allow artists to continue to learn and share. More than 12 of my students have now started doing their own art workshops across various cities. Painting a portrait on canvas is a small conscious practice, like a warm up, the real transformation is when that creative vision or perspective starts influencing everything else you do and makes it more focused and beautiful.”
Talking about the upcoming workshop, Savitha Ranga, Owner, The Hobby Place, said: “Through this workshop, participants will learn to create enthralling figurative portraits, pick up a hobby for life and also perhaps take workshops in the future.”
The seats for the workshop are limited to ensure an enhanced art experience & learning. Participants of age 15 years and above can apply for the session. For registrations, contact Mob: 96208-47069 or 9916583407.
