Mysuru: Noted Film Director Roopa Iyer has said that she would like to contest Lok Sabha polls from any one of the seats (Mysuru-Kodagu, Bengaluru or Udupi-Chikmagalur) in the forthcoming elections.

Speaking to press persons here recently, she said all the major political parties were in touch with her. “I have held talks with all the parties but I am yet to decide on which party to contest from. However, I have started my preparations,” she said.

It may be mentioned here that Roopa Iyer was an aspirant for BJP ticket from K.R. Assembly segment in the May 2018 polls.
