Chalana Sahitya Vedike of Mysore Medical College and Research Institute (MMC&RI) has organised ‘Wave-2017,’ a three-day film festival at its Platinum Jubilee Auditorium in J.K. Grounds from Mar. 22 to 24 at 5.30 pm.
Mar. 22: The fest will be inaugurated by P. Bharathidevi, Writer and Poet, Hassan. MMC&RI Dean & Director Dr. B. Krishnamurthy will preside. MMC&RI Principal Dr. K.R. Dakshayini and Chief Administrative Officer B.G. Indiramma will be the guests of honour; Mar. 23: Writer & director V.K. Sanjyothi will be the chief guest. K.R. Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr. Chandrashekar will preside. Department of Community Medicine Assistant Professor Dr. Manjunath, Department of Paediatrics Professor Dr. M.R. Savitha will be the guests of honour; Mar. 24: Valedictory – Thinker V.N. Lakshminarayan will be the chief guest. Department of Ophthalmology Asst. Professor Dr. D.N. Prakash will preside. MMC&RI Nursing College Principal Firdose Fathima will be the guest of honour.
