Financial assistance to Vishwakarma community

Mysuru: The Karnataka Vishwakarma Communities Development Corporation  Limited (KVCDCL) is providing financial assistance under various schemes for the year 2018-19. Those interested may obtain the prescribed application forms from the respective District Manager’s Office or from the Backward Classes Social Extension Officer in the respective taluks.

The application forms must be obtained before July 16 and the filled in application forms submitted before July 25. Those submitted after July 25 will not be accepted.

Eligibility criteria: Those interested in applying must belong to Vishwakarma Community and its sub-castes. The applicants who want to apply for agriculture activities under Ganga Kalyan Scheme must be small and marginal farmers having not less than two acres or more than five acres of land in one place. (In Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Kodagu, Chikmagalur, Hassan and Shivamogga Districts farmers should have minimum one acre). There are also State Government schemes and NBCFDC (National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation) schemes available.
