Mysore/Mysuru: The RUDSET Institute is working for the upliftment of the vulnerable class of our society through economic empowerment of the masses, said K.J.S. Naik, Regional Manager, Canara Bank.
He was speaking at the ‘Financial Inclusion Week’ observed by RUDSETI along with Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
By organising such programmes, the Institute is economically educating the vulnerable part of the society regarding economic empowerment which is the need of the hour, felt Naik.
P. Gopinadha Sastry, Assistant General Manager, Lead Bank, State Bank of India (SBI), T. Venkata Subbaiah of National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD), K.N. Ananda Nayaka, Director, RUDSETI, Dr. Roopa Devaki, Assistant Professor, MMK & SDM College for Women, D.T. Venkatesh, FLCC Counsellor, were present on the occasion.
Gururaj Acharya of RBI had started the workshop through a webinar and sensitised the gathering about Financial Inclusion.
Girl students of MMK & SDM College for Women, Government First Grade College, Vijayanagar and beneficiaries from the Department of Women and Child Development were present.
As RBI observed Financial Inclusion Week from 14.2.2022 to 18.2.2022, this programme was organised at the Institute.
