FIR against 10 including Hebbalkar’s close aide

Belagavi: Hirebagewadi Police have registered a First Information Report (FIR) against 10 suspects including a close aide of Women and Child Development Minister Lakshmi Hebbalkar, in the case of MLC C.T. Ravi allegedly using derogatory words against Hebbalkar in the Council recently.

It may be recalled that, following the incident on Dec. 19, high drama was witnessed in the premises of Suvarna Soudha here, when the supporters of Hebbalkar allegedly tried to assault Ravi. Meanwhile, Hirebagewadi Police had also registered a case against Ravi.

On the other hand, Ravi had also lodged a complaint at Khanapur Police Station, which has been transferred to Hirebagewadi Police Station. Upon receiving a copy of the complaint through post, the Police have registered a FIR in the case.
