Mysuru: An FIR has been registered against Mysuru- Kodagu Parliament Seat BJP candidate Pratap Simha for violating model code of conduct by allegedly misusing Postal Service for campaigning.
It may be recalled that President of Karnataka Backward Classes Awareness Forum K.S. Shivaramu recently accused MP Pratap Simha and BJP of misusing Postal Department officials for election campaign.
Shivaramu alleged that Pratap Simha was misusing the service of Postman to send booklets of his achievements to the households.
Simha has allegedly printed 50,000 booklets and is sending them through Postman when the model code of conduct is in force since Mar.10.
