Mysuru: Fire erupted at Panchavati Hotel located in Lakshmipuram yesterday, which was however extinguished in quick time, thanks to the alertness of the hotel owner and staff.
Fire, reportedly caused by a short-circuit, broke out in the kitchen of the hotel at about 2.35 pm, when the hotel owner Panduranga Satish, Manager Yogesh and other staff extinguished the fire using fire extinguishers at the hotel.
Later, personnel of Saraswathipuram Fire Brigade arrived at the spot and carried out an inspection. The personnel left the place after getting fully confirmed that the fire has been completely doused. The hotel resumed its business an hour later, it is learnt.
