Mysuru: Two shops selling grocery and plastic items were reportedly gutted in a fire possibly owing to an electrical short circuit early this morning at Vani Vilas (VV) Market in Agrahara here.
Passers-by who noticed the fire at about 6 am immediately informed the Police who in turn summoned a fire tender to the spot.
The timely arrival of the fire tender prevented the fire from spreading to other shops. The loss to goods is being assessed. KR Police have registered a case.
