Mysore/Mysuru: Riva Manya, a II PUC student of Jnanodaya PU College, who was the sole representative from India and  Karnataka, in the 6th  International Karate Open Championship 2024 held at Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu recently, secured first place in Kumite (under 76 kg category) and first place in Kata (U19 years age category).

Riva Manya emerged as a winner competing with karatekas from Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Oman, Iran and Malaysia. Management Committee, Principal, Teaching and Non-teaching staff and students Jnanodaya PU College have congratulated Riva on her achievement.
