Mysore/Mysuru: Sri Nadabrahma Sangeetha Sabha will be hosting a five-day classical music fest for Mysureans from Oct. 20. All are physical live concerts at the Sabha premises on JLB Road in city.
The series starts with Suresh Mohan Memorial Nadakishorotsava from Oct. 20 to 22. It will be followed by Smt. Bhagirati & Kuskoor Krishnamurthy Memorial Concert sponsored by Kuskoor Brothers & Sisters on Oct. 23 and T.R. Mahalingam (Flute Mali) Samsmarana Concert sponsored by Flute Mali Samsmarana Vedike on Oct. 24.
October 20
6 pm to 7.15 pm: Aditi Prahlad will give a vocal concert. She will be accompanied by Prithvi Bhaskar on violin and Pavan Madhav Masur on mridanga; 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm – Shashank Jodidar will render flute concert with same accompanists.
October 21
6 pm to 7.15 pm: Vocal concert by Prithvi Bhaskar; 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm – Vocal concert by Niranjan Dindoli. Both will be accompanied by Mysore M. Keshava on violin and Vikram Bharadwaj on mridanga.
October 22
6 pm to 7.15 pm: Mandolin recital by Skanda Sastry. He will be accompanied by C.V. Shruti on violin and Nandan Kashyap on mridanga; 7.30 pm to 8.45 pm – Vocal concert by Mahati Raghuram. She will be accompanied by C.V. Shruti on violin and Shubhang on mridanga.
October 23
6 pm: Noted vocalist Bellary M. Raghavendra will give a Grand Vocal Concert. He will be accompanied on violin by Vaibhav Ramani and mridanga by C. Cheluvaraju while N. Gurumurthy will be on ghata.
October 24
6 pm: T.R. Srinath will be honoured with ‘Venu Brahma’ title on the occasion and it will be followed by a flute concert by Srinath. Mysore M. Keshava on violin, G.S. Ramanujan on mridanga and V.S. Ramesh on morching will be accompanying for the flute concert.
