The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Vidyavardhaka College of Engineering (VVCE) has organised a 5-day workshop titled “Interdisciplinary Outlook in Engineering Sciences” from Jan.21 to 25. Participants from different parts of the country will attend the workshop. The workshop will be inaugurated by Dr. S. V. Sachidananda, former Senior Researcher, Aerospace Engineering Department, IISc, Bengaluru, on Jan. 21 at 9.30 am. Eminent resource persons like Dr. Ashok Rao, former Head, Network Project, CEDT, IISc, Bengaluru and Professor & Research Advisor, VVCE; Dr. Praveen Ramamurthy, Associate Professor, Materials Engineering Department, IISc, Bengaluru; Dr. Prasad Sudhakar, Scientist at AICV Lab, GE Global Research, Bengaluru; Dr. Shayan Srinivas, Associate Professor, DESE, IISc, Bengaluru; Raghavendra Udupa, Principal Researcher at Wadhwani Institute of AI, Mumbai and others will address the participants.  The main focus of this workshop is to allow professionals from different disciplines to interact with the participants and to motivate interdisciplinary collaboration to promote effective communication among researchers with common goals but varied backgrounds.
